Do I have to open the headlights?
No. This kit uses a plug in harness between the headlight and the factory wiring. You do not need to open or bake the headlight housing.
Do the DRLs go back to white with the headlights on?
Yes. In DRL mode the lights show amber. When the headlights turn on, the DRLs switch back to the standard white output, so you keep a very OEM friendly setup.
Is the install reversible?
Yes. You can unplug the harness and reconnect the factory wiring at any time, so the car can go back to stock without any trace.
Will this kit cause error codes?
The harness works with the OEM wiring and should not cause errors when it is installed correctly.
