We designed these Genesis G70 intake shrouds to improve airflow to the airbox on your 2022 and newer Genesis G70. They help feed cooler outside air into the intake area and slow down how quickly temperatures heat soak in traffic. At the same time, they keep an OEM plus look under the hood, so the front of the car still feels factory.

Install information
- Estimated install time: about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on tools and experience.
- Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. Most owners can complete the install in a driveway with basic tools.
- The only trimming you do is a small cut on a plastic section of the bumper to clear the intake shrouds. You do not cut the frame, crash bar or core support.
- If you add the AGS or AAF delete option, you remove the active grille shutter assembly and plug the simulator module into the factory harness.
- Because the work happens in the front bumper and intake area, we recommend professional installation if you do not feel comfortable working there.
Usage notes
These Genesis G70 intake shrouds work with the factory airbox and with many common bolt on intake setups. They do not require a tune by themselves. However, if you already run higher power or aftermarket tuning, you should still monitor the car and review data after any airflow change. When you choose the AGS or AAF delete option, keep an eye on coolant and oil temps in very hot climates or during long, hard driving sessions.

Do I have to cut or trim anything to install these?
Yes, you trim a small plastic area on the bumper so the intake shrouds clear properly. You do not cut the frame, crash bar or core support. We show the trim location in the instructions or product photos.
Do I need the AGS or AAF delete kit for these to work?
No, the intake shrouds work on their own. The AGS or AAF delete kit serves as an add on for owners who want to remove the active grille shutters and open up even more space and airflow in front of the car.
Do I need a tune with these shrouds?
No, most owners run these on stock or lightly tuned G70s without a separate tune just for the shrouds. If you build a more aggressive setup, data logging always helps you confirm that everything looks healthy.
Will these cause check engine lights?
The shrouds themselves do not trigger check engine lights when you install them correctly. If you choose the AGS or AAF delete option, the simulator module mimics the factory shutter signals and helps prevent codes after you remove the shutters.
