The Genesis G70 Wireless Charger Upgrade with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is designed specifically for 2022–2023 Genesis G70 owners who want improved wireless charging while adding wireless phone connectivity to the factory infotainment system.
This upgrade replaces the factory wireless charger assembly with an upgraded charging solution while adding wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto through the factory display and controls.
Important: Because this version replaces the factory wireless charger assembly, OEM NFC functionality and Genesis Digital Key functionality through the factory charging pad are not retained.

Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Your G70 already supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through a wired connection. This upgrade eliminates the need to connect your phone by cable every time you enter the vehicle.
After the initial setup, a compatible phone can automatically reconnect when you start the vehicle. As a result, you can access compatible navigation, music, calls, messages, and other CarPlay or Android Auto features through the factory infotainment system without plugging in your phone.
The system continues to use the factory display and vehicle controls, helping maintain the original infotainment experience while adding wireless connectivity.
Upgraded Wireless Charging
In addition to wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, this kit replaces the factory wireless charger assembly with an upgraded wireless charging solution.
The replacement charger provides a convenient place to charge your compatible phone while using wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. Therefore, you can keep your phone connected and charging without plugging a cable into it every time you drive.
Important NFC & Genesis Digital Key Information
This kit replaces the factory wireless charger assembly. Because the factory charging pad also contains the OEM NFC functionality used by supported Genesis Digital Key features, replacing that assembly removes that functionality from the charging pad.
If retaining the factory NFC functionality or Genesis Digital Key operation through the OEM charging pad is important to you, please keep this limitation in mind before ordering.
OEM-Style Integration
We designed the system to integrate with the existing G70 infotainment setup rather than replacing the factory display. Consequently, the interior maintains a clean, factory-style appearance after installation.
The wireless CarPlay and Android Auto module works with the factory infotainment system while the replacement wireless charger installs in the factory charging location.

Plug-and-Play Installation
The system uses plug-and-play harnesses to integrate with the vehicle without cutting or splicing the factory wiring during a standard installation.
Installation requires removing several interior trim panels around the center console and infotainment system. You will also remove the factory wireless charger assembly and install the upgraded charger in its place.

Everyday Operation
Once you complete the initial setup, your compatible phone can automatically connect to wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto when you start the vehicle.
Meanwhile, the upgraded wireless charger allows you to place a compatible phone on the charging pad without connecting a charging cable. Together, these upgrades create a cleaner wireless setup for everyday driving.
Fully Reversible
The plug-and-play design does not require permanent modification to the factory wiring. Therefore, you can remove the system and reinstall the original wireless charger and connections if you want to return the vehicle to its factory configuration.
Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Questions
Will I lose Genesis Digital Key or NFC functionality?
Yes. This version replaces the factory wireless charger assembly, so it does not retain the OEM NFC functionality built into the factory charging pad. As a result, Genesis Digital Key features that depend on that NFC functionality will no longer operate through the charging pad.
Why is NFC functionality not retained?
The factory wireless charger assembly contains the OEM NFC hardware used by supported Genesis Digital Key functions. Because this upgrade replaces that assembly with the upgraded wireless charger, the replacement does not retain the factory NFC hardware.
Does my G70 already have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
Yes. Compatible 2022–2023 Genesis G70 models already support wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This upgrade adds wireless connectivity so you do not need to plug your phone in each time you drive.
Will I lose any factory infotainment controls?
No. The wireless CarPlay and Android Auto system integrates with the factory infotainment setup and retains the factory display and compatible vehicle controls.
Do I need to replace the factory screen?
No. The system uses the existing Genesis G70 infotainment display.
Do I need to cut or splice any wires?

Fantastic product. I didn’t want any cables or goofy looking modules hanging out of my ports, and now that I’ve installed and tested it, I’d say it’s well worth the price to keep your car looking as uncluttered as possible.
Install wasn’t difficult with the right tools. Fair warning though—I ordered the cheapest trim tool kit on Amazon and one of the pry tools’ teeth snapped off the first time trying to lift the trim around the shifter. Only problem for me was the nerves associated with ripping apart my brand new car: I winced every time a connector popped loose because until now all work I had done like this was on older cars with more brittle plastics.
